Classic Safari Camps

Classic Safari Camps is an association of independent, privately owned camps and lodges in East and Southern Africa.

Each of these unique establishments offers genuine hospitality and an intimate knowledge of Africa’s natural environment, whilst being totally committed to conservation and the development of local communities. Therefore sharing and preserving the true spirit of Africa.

Namibia boasts quite a few Classic Camps. Apart from Wolwedans – which has been associated with Classics for some ten years – Onguma (situated at Etosha), Mowani in the Twyfelfontein area, Nambwa in the Caprivi and Okahirong in the Kaokoland region are also members.

Spread throughout the best wilderness and game viewing areas on the continent, the Classic Camps provide guests a rare opportunity to appreciate the beauty and diversity of wild Africa, at the same time being accommodated in extraordinary comfort and style.

Each camp has it’s own original interpretation of nature reflected in it’s design and location. Experience the austere beauty of the Kalahari, the endless horizons of the Namib, the splendour of the annual migration across the magnificent Serengeti or the timeless struggle between predator and prey in the Luangwa Valley. Breakfast under the spray of the Victoria Falls or simply unwind on the white sandy beaches of Mozambique.

Our collaboration provides an unrivalled source of memorable safaris for the discerning and adventurous traveler - representing the very best Africa has to offer.
